Buxom is the cosmetics maker who has been plumping and tingling pouts all over the world for a while now. Until recently, Buxom only offered their wildly popular plumping lip glosses in an array of colors. A new day and a new lip product is upon us.
Buxom has a new product called Va-Va-PLUMP Shiny Liquid Lipstick ($20). According to the manufacturer,

Since we are fans of Buxom’s Full-On Lip Polish, we were eager to try their latest creation. The color that we used for the review is called Come To Dolly.
The packaging is fairly standard. We like the thickness of the lipstick tube; it feels substantial in your hand. We appreciate the little windows that run down the length of the tube because they allow you to see how much product is left. No guessing how much lipstick you have left and you’ll know exactly when it’s time to order more of your favorite colors.
The lipstick wand has a curved applicator that beautifully hugged our lips and made applying the lipstick easy. We love the ease-of-use factor.
The formula is highly pigmented. It only takes one swipe of the wand to achieve full, bold color. We adore how the formula feels–it’s silky, smooth and not sticky. With twenty colors to choose from, there’s at least one shade (but probably many more) that work for you.
The lipstick is slightly shiny and it is just enough for us. It is not a high mirror shine finish like some customers might expect. So just be aware, yes there is shine, but we found it to be minimal. Nonetheless, we liked the overall look of the formula.
The plumping is a cool, tingling sensation that we found to be pleasant and not overwhelming. We did notice that our lips appeared fuller. Will it transform pencil-thin lips into a Kylie Jenner pout? Negative. (It’s a lipstick wand, not a magic wand.) Va-Va-Plump liquid lipstick will give your lips a boost and deliver an overall fuller appearance.
Two things we absolutely loved about Va-Va-Plump is that it doesn’t dry our lips and the lipstick is long-lasting. Usually long-lasting lipsticks seriously dry out your lips.
Our verdict: If you are looking for a lipstick that delivers bold color with serious staying power that won’t dry out your lips, try Buxom’s Va-Va-Plump Shiny Liquid Lipstick. The plumping and intense color will give you a sexy bombshell pout. Buxom has another winning lip product!
