Peter Ting is a ceramicist whose work ranges from 18th-century-inspired floral dishes to other works like these brightly-colored espresso cups and saucers. First launched in the 1980’s, Ting just reissued the “Stipple” line, which has a delicate dotted glaze. “The Stipple technique creates incredible depth and texture,” he says. Each one is entirely hand stippled and gilded in 22 Carat burnish gold, on the finest translucent bone china, stipple is now available in 6 playful colors. $50 for a cup and saucer.
