The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Triple Time Zone watch is one of the striking new additions to the dynamic Excalibur collection from the exclusive Geneva-based luxury watch manufacturer.
Following up the well-known tradition of Roger Dubuis for producing extremely limited series of watches, the Excalibur Triple Time Zone models are presented in 18K white or rose gold, in editions of 28 pieces per variation. Stainless steel versions are also presented, which are limited to a series of 88 examples. Regardless of metal, each Roger Dubuis Excalibur watch case measures 45mm, and showcases a distinctive lug design and crenelated bezel, as well as a protective crown cover. A selection of bold Roman dials give the collection a diverse expressive range, with each variant being fitted with dauphine-style hands in polished white or rose gold. Sapphire crystals are fitted to both sides of the watch.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Triple Time Zone watch is animated by a self-winding movement which is an exclusive product of the manufacture Roger Dubuis. Constructed and decorated according to the highest traditional standard of Genevoise watchmaking, each RD 1448 caliber bears the prestigious Geneva Seal hallmark. Comprised of 387 components, the self-winding movement features a three-timezone complication; the local time is shown via the primary time display, while two additional timezones complete with day/night and meridian indicators appear at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. The caliber has a power reserve of 48 hours, and a balance wheel frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour.
Each Roger Dubuis Excalibur Triple Time Zone watch is completed by a luxurious strap in alligator leather and an intricate 18K gold or stainless steel folding clasp adorned with the RD logo. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
