The crown jewel of Englewood’s great estates was designed by one of the architects of the National Cathedral in Washington. It was built for businessman and philanthropist Maxwell Upson (for whom professorships at Princeton and Cornell are named). The exquisite residence is a French Chateau in the heart of Englewood’s East Hill and has entertained U.S. Presidents and World Leaders. It features a swimming pool, a carriage house with three bedrooms, a kitchen, bath and living room with fireplace.
