Charter Virgin Founder Richard Branson's Catamaran, the Necker Belle

If you’ve ever wanted to cruise in the Caribbean like the fun-loving Virgin founder Richard Branson, then now is your chance. Branson has completed a refit of his 105-foot carbon fiber catamaran and is offering it for charter to those looking to live for a bit like a billionaire. Originally launched as the Lady Barbaretta in 2003 and now named Necker Belle, spent two years redone at Australia’s Azzura Marine and their in-house fittings division AM Interiors. The Necker Belle is capable of topping 20 knots while under sail and 18 knots under power with all the stability one would expect of a big cat.

The yacht can accomodate up to 10 guests in four en suite staterooms and the main cabin’s lounge area, which can be converted to a double cabin, as well as a crew of seven. The modern, beach-house style interior modeled on Branson’s Necker Island retreat in the British Virgin Islands features a wine cellar and there’s an open-air cinema as well. The cost of living like a billionaire for a week? Branson’s Necker Belle can be chartered for $88,000 per week.
