Loeven SportwagenTouren, Europe’s premier supercar touring company, is now offering a version of its incredible Tour des Niveaux. The tour leads from Lake Geneva to the Côte d’Azur in a Bugatti Veyron. The 7-day journey beginning in Zurich traverses the most breathtaking alpine roads including the famed Col d?Iseran, the world’s highest alpine mountain pass at over 9,000 ft. above sea level. Hairpin turns and eye-popping scenery are the norm both in the mountains – Mont Blanc is an early destination – and on the famous seaside Grande Corniche between Nice and Menton.

As if piloting a supercar wasn’t enough excitement already, the Tour de Niveaux also includes stopovers at the best boutique luxury hotels, many of them historically significant, as well as incredible cuisine at Michelin-starred eateries en route; founder Reinhard Loeven knows his chefs as well as his exotic autos. Doing the trip in the Veyron, the né plus ultra, will cost about $18,000 per day (€13,000, with a €50,000 security deposit); Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Maseratis are also available on a sliding scale, though Loeven will happily locate you a Rolls-Royce, Pagani or even a Konigsegg should you wish.

While much of the 7-day journey is spent on the road, drivers are afforded every luxury as they step out of their supercar and into the opulent Chateau de Coudree. Surrounded by a moat, the Chateau de Coudree exudes sophistication and is located just kilometers away from the shores of Lake Geneva. With ornate furnishings originating from ancient Italian Palazzo, the intimate medieval castle offers an understated elegance and an authentic old world ambiance. A stay at the family-owned chateau is an experience within itself, and one that will make even the most discerning traveler feel as though they stepped out of the pages of a storybook.

The Tour des Niveaux is not your run-of-the-mill driving tour. With its carefully selected owner-run hideaways, an optional wine package, and an intimate group size of 10, everything about the tour is designed to add that extra special touch of personalized service.

Additional highlights of the tour include a visit to the Fragonard perfume factory in Eze, an afternoon viewing exceptional olfactory art, and an unforgettable journey through the vast and varied terrain of the French Alps. From larch forests and imposing mountains to rocky deserts and picturesque coastlines, the Tour des Niveaux is truly a tour of a lifetime.
